A clear sky with some hazy clouds greeted 13 visitors from the Space Society of London to the Cronyn Observatory for Exploring the Stars on Wednesday, October 17th, 7:00 p.m.  Graduate student Tyler Desjardins made the digital slide presentation, “Mars,” and this was followed by observing.  

Mostly cloudy skies greeted the 54th London Beavers & Cubs Group to the Cronyn Observatory on Wednesday, October 10th, 6:45 p.m. Graduate student Tyler Desjardins made the digital slide presentation, The Scout / Guide Astronomy Badge, and this was followed by a tour of the big 25.4cm refractor in the dome.

Graduate student Tyler Desjardins made the digital slide presentation, The X-Ray Universe, before 8 visitors (6 children and 2 adults) from the 29th Byron Scout Troop, at the Cronyn Observatory for Exploring the Stars, Thursday, April 26th, 7:00 p.m. Graduate student Allison Hill was also present.

Graduate student Tyler Desjardins made the digital slide presentation, Our Solar System, before 43 visitors (27 children and 16 adults) from the Spark / Brownie, Girl Guides Unit in Thorndale, at the Cronyn Observatory for Exploring the Stars, Wednesday, April 25th, 6:00 p.m. This was followed by questions.
