Join us at a New Time January 19th and our Guest of Honour Jan Cami – Are We Alone – The search for Life in the Universe?

Please join us for our January meeting. Our Guest of Honour this month is Jan Cami. His talk is titled “Are We Alone – The Search for Life in the Universe?” Jan is Associate Professor at Western University and Director of Hume Cronyn Observatory.

The meeting starts at 8:00 but doors will be open 7:30 for meet and greet and social time before meeting

Our Next Meeting is January 20 – 7pm

This month our meeting will NOT be at Fanshawe College. It will take place at Western University’s Cronyn Observatory. For directions see here. Parking is free at several of the Western lots:

  • Springett
  • Medway Hall Residence
  • Elborn College
  • Huron Flats

​The parking at Alumni Hall is not free. Persons that have disabilities or cannot walk a block or two should look into paying.

The speaker will be Prof. Chris Smeenk (Western) and the topic will be General Relativity.
