Dave showed them Mars, Jupiter and Venus in the big 25.4cm refractor using the 28mm Meade Super Wide Angle eyepiece (157X). Phil showed them the Orion Nebula (M42), Venus, Mars and the Moon in his 127mm Sky-Watcher Maksutov. Robin showed them Mars, Venus and the Moon in the London Centre’s 25.4cm Dobsonian. Everyone was gone by 9:30 p.m. after a very enjoyable evening observing under clear skies.
