Graduate student Tyler Desjardins made the digital slide presentation, Our Solar System, before 43 visitors (27 children and 16 adults) from the Spark / Brownie, Girl Guides Unit in Thorndale, at the Cronyn Observatory for Exploring the Stars, Wednesday, April 25th, 6:00 p.m. This was followed by questions.
Since it was cloudy Tyler and RASC London Centre member Bob Duff gave them a tour of the dome and the big 25.4cm refractor. Everybody was gone by 7:30 p.m. after an interesting and enjoyable evening of astronomy, despite the clouds.
