Meteorite hit my client...ideas on preserving?

Post by Ryan » May 25th, 2018, 9:45 am

So, in an interesting twist, a Meteorite hit my client's son in the knee this morning. Its still "fresh and hot", and golf ball sized!. I've had her contact Peter Brown, but he looks to be away until mid June. anyone have any contacts on what she could do to properly preserve it as pristinely as possible in case someone wants to study it? Or know any of Peter's colleagues who might be around still in the summer?

Thanks,
Ryan

Ryan, I thought we'd see a photo of a real golf ball. :D
If this isn't a joke, let me know. I can put you in touch with the ex-meteorite curator at Western U.

Ryan, I have PM'ed you with contact info. Good luck. I'd love to see this thing, and also hear the incredible story behind it.
