Hazy, cloudy skies, later cloudy, and cold temperature greeted 39 visitors to the Western University’s Cronyn Observatory Public Night, Monday, January 26th, 7:00 p.m. The event was especially intended for students on campus, with observing only and no slide presentation.

Partly cloudy, hazy skies and cold temperature greeted 49 visitors to the Cronyn Observatory Public Night, Saturday, January 10th, 2015, 7:00 p.m. Graduate student Shannon Hicks made her digital slide presentation “Exploring Comets” and answered questions. Graduate students Parshati Patel and Emily McCullough operated the big 25.4cm refractor in the dome.

Clear skies and cold temperature greeted 36 visitors to the Cronyn Observatory Public Night, Saturday, December 6th, 2014, 7:00 p.m. Graduate student Tony Martinez made his digital slide presentation “Calendars and the Measurement of Time” and answered questions. Graduate students Parshati Patel and Jeff Vankerkhove operated the big refractor in the dome.
